You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you say, How have we wearied him? When you say, Everyone that does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them; or, Where is the God of justice?

13 And this you have done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping and crying out, so much that he regards not the offering any more, nor receives it with good will at your hand.
14 Yet you say, Why? Because the LORD has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously; yet she is your companion and the wife of your covenant.
17 I struck you with blight and mildew and hail in all the labors of your hands; yet you did not turn to Me, says the LORD.
5 Thus says the LORD, What wrong have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have followed idols, and have become idolaters?
8 But you have turned out of the way; you have caused many to stumble at the law; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts.
9 Therefore, I have also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as you have not kept my ways but have been partial in the law.
17 Therefore the Lord will have no joy in their young men, nor have mercy on their fatherless and widows; for everyone is a hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare your people, O LORD, and give not your heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?
18 Did not your fathers do this, and did not our God bring all this disaster on us and on this city? Yet you bring added wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath.
