16Therefore some of the Pharisees said, This man is not from God, because he does not keep the Sabbath day. Others said, How can a man who is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
14And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, and said to the people, There are six days on which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.
15The Lord then answered him, and said, You hypocrite, does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or his donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water?
16And should not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, indeed these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?
1And it happened, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.
2And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.
10The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, 'It is the Sabbath day; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.'
