21 And when a convenient day came, that Herod on his birthday made a supper for his lords, high captains, and chief men of Galilee;
22 And when the daughter of Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and those who sat with him, the king said to the girl, Ask of me whatever you wish, and I will give it to you.
23 And he swore to her, Whatever you ask of me, I will give it to you, up to half of my kingdom.
20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshiping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
21 And he said to her, What do you wish? She said to him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, one on your right hand, and the other on the left, in your kingdom.

29 So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said to her on the next day, Give your son, that we may eat him: and she has hidden her son.
20 Then she said, I desire one small petition of you; please do not deny me. And the king said to her, Ask on, my mother, for I will not refuse you.
18 Then the king answered and said to the woman, Do not hide from me, I pray you, the thing that I shall ask you. And the woman said, Let my lord the king now speak.
11 Then she said, I pray you, let the king remember the LORD your God, that you would not allow the avenger of blood to destroy anymore, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As the LORD lives, there shall not one hair of your son fall to the earth.
12 Then the woman said, Let your maidservant, I pray you, speak one word to my lord the king. And he said, Speak on.
15 Now therefore I have come to speak of this thing to my lord the king, because the people have made me afraid: and your maidservant said, I will now speak to the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his maidservant.
16 For the king will hear, to deliver his maidservant from the hand of the man who would destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of God.
60 His mother answered and said, No; he shall be called John.
34 And when he had come in, he ate and drank, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king's daughter.
