6For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people who were men of war, who came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they did not obey the voice of the LORD, to whom the LORD swore that He would not show them the land which the LORD had sworn to their fathers that He would give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.
3And you shall write upon them all the words of this law, when you have crossed over, that you may go into the land which the LORD your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey; as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you.
9And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them, for we have seen the land, and behold, it is very good; are you still? Do not be lazy to go and to enter to possess the land.
10When you go, you shall come to a secure people and to a large land, for God has given it into your hands; a place where there is no lack of anything that is on the earth.

25And they captured fortified cities and a fertile land, and took possession of houses full of all goods, wells already dug, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filled and became fat, and delighted themselves in Your great goodness.
3Therefore, hear, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly, as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you, in the land flowing with milk and honey.
28Where shall we go up? Our brethren have discouraged our hearts, saying, The people are greater and taller than we; the cities are great and fortified up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.
