9In the same way, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing;
5Likewise, you younger ones, submit yourselves to the elder. Yes, all of you be subject to one another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.
2And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
6Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
17Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18And do not be drunk with wine, in which is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
11But refuse the younger widows; for when they have begun to grow wanton against Christ, they desire to marry;
15Speak these things, and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.
1This second letter, beloved, I now write to you; in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
