Now, LORD God, may your promise to my father David be realized, for you have made me king over a great nation as numerous as the dust of the earth.

That is why your servant has had the courage to pray to you. 26 Now, O LORD, you are the true God; you have made this good promise to your servant. 27 Now you are willing to bless your servant’s dynasty so that it may stand permanently before you, for you, O LORD, have blessed it and it will be blessed from now on into the future.”
• 1 Chr 28:6-7 : 6 He said to me,‘Solomon your son is the one who will build my temple and my courts, for I have chosen him to become my son and I will become his father. 7 I will establish his kingdom permanently, if he remains committed to obeying my commands and regulations, as you are doing this day.’
