19Before this I had been like a docile lamb ready to be led to the slaughter. I did not know they were making plans to kill me. 11Then LORD’s message came to me:
10They will know that I am the LORD; my threats to bring this catastrophe on them were not empty.’
15I said,“LORD, you know how I suffer. Take thought of me and care for me. Pay back for me those who have been persecuting me. Do not be so patient with them that you allow them to kill me. Be mindful of how I have put up with their insults for your sake.

3“I announced events beforehand, I issued the decrees and made the predictions; suddenly I acted and they came to pass.
8You did not hear, you do not know, you were not told beforehand. For I know that you are very deceitful; you were labeled a rebel from birth.

19So that your confidence may be in the LORD, I hereby make them known to you today– even you.

16In this way I will pass sentence on the people of Jerusalem and Judah because of all their wickedness. For they rejected me and offered sacrifices to other gods, worshiping what they made with their own hands.”
23But you, LORD, know all their plots to kill me. Do not pardon their crimes! Do not ignore their sins as though you had erased them! Let them be brought down in defeat before you! Deal with them while you are still angry!
9The LORD said to me,“The people of Judah and the citizens of Jerusalem have plotted rebellion against me!
5Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon me and said to me,“Say: This is what the LORD says:‘This is what you are thinking, O house of Israel; I know what goes through your minds.
24All the trees of the field will know that I am the LORD. I make the high tree low; I raise up the low tree. I make the green tree wither, and I make the dry tree sprout. I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it!’”
20I will do this so people will observe and recognize, so they will pay attention and understand that the LORD’s power has accomplished this, and that the Holy One of Israel has brought it into being.”
16But I have not pestered you to bring disaster. I have not desired the time of irreparable devastation. You know that. You are fully aware of every word that I have spoken.
8Your priests did not ask,‘Where is the LORD?’ Those responsible for teaching my law did not really know me. Your rulers rebelled against me. Your prophets prophesied in the name of the god Baal. They all worshiped idols that could not help them.
27Then they will realize this is your work, and that you, LORD, have accomplished it.
18So the LORD said,“Hear, you nations! Be witnesses and take note of what will happen to these people.
11The Lord Encourages Isaiah Indeed this is what the LORD told me quite forcefully. He warned me not to act like these people:
27Futile Words, Deceptive Answers“Yes, I know what you are thinking, the schemes by which you would wrong me.
18“The way you have lived and the things you have done will bring this on you. This is the punishment you deserve, and it will be painful indeed. The pain will be so bad it will pierce your heart.”
27The LORD said to me,“I have made you like a metal assayer to test my people like ore. You are to observe them and evaluate how they behave.”
44Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I deal with you for the sake of my reputation and not according to your wicked conduct and corrupt deeds, O house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD.’”

13“But these things you have concealed in your heart; I know that this is with you:

23They will console you when you see their behavior and their deeds, because you will know that it was not without reason that I have done everything which I have done in it, declares the Sovereign LORD.”
12Then you will know that I am the LORD, whose statutes you have not followed and whose regulations you have not carried out. Instead you have behaved according to the regulations of the nations around you!’”
11I will execute judgments against Moab. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”

10You were complacent in your evil deeds; you thought,‘No one sees me.’ Your self-professed wisdom and knowledge lead you astray, when you say,‘I am unique! No one can compare to me!’
