And the firstborn said to the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man on earth to come in to us in the manner of all the earth.

She said, How have you broken through? This breach is upon you. Therefore he was named Perez. 30 Afterward his brother came out with the scarlet thread on his hand, and he was named Zerah.
