    8እግዚአብሔርም ለሰይጣን፣ “ባሪያዬን ኢዮብ ተመልከትህን? በምድር ላይ እርሱን የሚመስል የለም፤ ፍጹምና ቀና ሰው ነው፤ እግዚአብሔርን ይፈራል ክፉንም ይርቃል” አለው።

    9ሰይጣንም መለሰና አለ፦ “ኢዮብ እግዚአብሔርን በከንቱ ይፈራል ይሆን?”

    10እርሱንም ቤቱንም ያለውንም ሁሉ በዙሪያ መከበሪያ አልከበርክለትምን? የእጁን ሥራ ባርከሃል፤ ሀብቱም በአገር ውስጥ በዛናል።
