Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus. 20 Immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying, "He is the Son of God." 21 All who heard him were amazed and said, "Isn’t this the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And didn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?"
