He came to me to lie with me, but I screamed loudly. 15 When he heard me raise my voice and scream, he left his garment beside me and ran outside." 16 She kept his garment beside her until his master came home. 17 Then she told him this story: "That Hebrew servant you brought to us came to mock me. 18 But when I raised my voice and screamed, he left his garment beside me and fled outside." 19 When his master heard the story that his wife told him, saying, "This is how your servant treated me," his anger burned. 20 So Joseph's master took him and put him in the prison where the king's prisoners were held, and he remained there.
