As they were going out, a man who was mute and possessed by a demon was brought to him.

Help my unbelief!' 25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was gathering, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying, 'You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again!' 26 The spirit cried out, convulsed him violently, and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, 'He is dead.' 27 But Jesus took him by the hand, lifted him up, and he stood.
