    10 Zimri came in, struck him down, and killed him in the twenty-seventh year of Asa, king of Judah, and reigned in his place.

    11 As soon as Zimri began to reign and sat on his throne, he struck down the entire household of Baasha. He did not leave a single male, whether relative or friend.

    17 When Jehu arrived in Samaria, he struck down all who remained of Ahab’s household in Samaria until he had destroyed them, according to the word of the LORD spoken through Elijah.

    18 Then Jehu gathered all the people and said to them, "Ahab served Baal a little, but Jehu will serve him much.
