12Concerning this house that you are building, if you will walk in my statutes and carry out my ordinances, and keep all my commandments by walking in them, then I will establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.
14So Solomon built the house and completed it.

6From the first day of the seventh month, they began to offer burnt offerings to the LORD, even though the foundation of the LORD’s temple had not yet been laid.
7Now it was in the heart of my father David to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

15On the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
10Consider now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a house as the sanctuary. Be strong and do it.
11So Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the royal palace, and he successfully accomplished everything he had planned to do for the house of the LORD and for his own house.
6So now, send me a skilled craftsman, knowledgeable in working with gold, silver, bronze, iron, purple, crimson, and blue yarn, and able to engrave designs. He will work with the skilled craftsmen who are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, whom my father David provided.
3In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the house of the LORD and repaired them.
15This temple was completed on the third day of the month of Adar, in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius.
20The LORD has fulfilled His word that He spoke: I have arisen in place of my father David, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised. I have also built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
