11When all the people of Jabesh-Gilead heard what the Philistines had done to Saul, they acted.
4All Israel heard the news: "Saul has attacked the Philistine garrison, and now Israel has become offensive to the Philistines." So the people were summoned to follow Saul at Gilgal.
