13As soon as you enter the city, you will find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. The people will not eat until he arrives because he must bless the sacrifice first. After that, those who have been invited can eat. Go now, for you will find him at this time.
14So they went up to the city, and as they were entering it, Samuel was coming out toward them on his way up to the high place.
15Now the LORD had revealed to Samuel the day before Saul came,
25After they came down from the high place to the town, Samuel spoke with Saul on the roof.
26They got up early, and at the break of dawn, Samuel called to Saul on the roof, saying, "Get up, and I will send you on your way." So Saul got up, and both he and Samuel went outside together.
27As they were going down to the outskirts of the town, Samuel said to Saul, "Tell the servant to go on ahead of us"—and the servant went on—"but you stay here for a moment, and I will give you a message from God."
17When Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said to him, "Here is the man I told you about; he will govern my people."
18Saul approached Samuel at the city gate and asked, "Please tell me where the seer's house is."
19Samuel answered, "I am the seer. Go up ahead of me to the high place, for you will eat with me today. In the morning, I will send you on your way and tell you all that is on your heart.

10When they arrived at Gibeah, a group of prophets came to meet him. Then the Spirit of God came mightily upon Saul, and he began to prophesy among them.
11When all those who had known Saul previously saw him prophesying with the prophets, they asked one another, 'What has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?'
36Saul said, 'Let us go down after the Philistines by night and plunder them until dawn. Let us not leave one of them alive.' They replied, 'Do whatever seems best to you.' But the priest said, 'Let us inquire of God here.'
13After Saul finished prophesying, he went up to the high place.
14Saul's uncle asked him and his servant, 'Where did you go?' Saul replied, 'To look for the donkeys, but when we saw that they were not found, we went to Samuel.'
15Then Saul's uncle said, 'Please tell me what Samuel said to you.'
22Finally, Saul himself went to Ramah. He came to the great cistern at Secu and asked, 'Where are Samuel and David?' Someone answered, 'They are at Naioth in Ramah.'
23So Saul went to Naioth in Ramah. But the Spirit of God came upon him as well, and he walked along prophesying until he came to Naioth.
11The Lord said to him, "Get up and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas, look for a man of Tarsus named Saul. For he is praying.
26Saul also went to his home in Gibeah, accompanied by valiant men whose hearts God had touched.
10Then the word of the LORD came to Samuel, saying:
5Just then, Saul was coming in from the field, following the oxen. He asked, "What is wrong with the people? Why are they all crying?" They told him what the men of Jabesh had said.
10Just as he finished offering the burnt sacrifice, Samuel came. Saul went out to meet him and to greet him.
10David said, "LORD, God of Israel, your servant has certainly heard that Saul intends to come to Keilah and destroy the city because of me.
11Will the leaders of Keilah hand me over to him? Will Saul come down as your servant has heard? LORD, God of Israel, please tell your servant." And the LORD answered, "He will come down."
2Samuel said, "How can I go? If Saul hears about it, he will kill me." The LORD replied, "Take a young cow with you and say, 'I have come to sacrifice to the LORD.'
31When David's words were heard, they were reported to Saul, and he sent for him.
7Then Saul said to his servants, "Find me a woman who is a medium, so I can go and consult her." His servants replied, "There is a woman who is a medium at En-dor."
14Then Samuel said to the people, "Come, let us go to Gilgal and renew the kingship there."
1Samuel said to Saul, "The LORD sent me to anoint you as king over His people Israel. Now, listen to the words of the LORD.
21When the woman came to Saul and saw that he was greatly distressed, she said to him, "Behold, your servant has obeyed you. I have taken my life in my hands and done as you requested.
14He went after the man of God and found him sitting under an oak tree. He asked him, 'Are you the man of God who came from Judah?' He replied, 'I am.'
34Then Samuel went to Ramah, but Saul went up to his home in Gibeah of Saul.
16Then Samuel said to Saul, 'Stop! Let me tell you what the LORD said to me last night.' Saul replied, 'Speak.'
13He said to his servant, "Come, let us approach one of these places and spend the night in Gibeah or Ramah."
12Early in the morning, Samuel got up to meet Saul, but he was told, 'Saul went to Carmel and has set up a monument in his own honor. Then he turned and went down to Gilgal.'
13When Samuel reached him, Saul said, 'Blessed are you of the LORD! I have carried out the LORD's instruction.'
19When Saul was told, 'David is at Naioth in Ramah,' he acted accordingly.
4So the young servant of the prophet went to Ramoth-Gilead.
5After that, you will come to the hill of God, where there are Philistine garrisons. As you approach the town, you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before them, and they will be prophesying.
7Once these signs come to pass, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.
3Now the donkeys belonging to Saul’s father Kish were lost. Kish said to Saul, "Take one of the servants with you and go look for the donkeys."
18Saul said to Ahijah, 'Bring the ark of God here.' (At that time it was with the Israelites.)
