17When he looked up and saw the traveler in the town square, the old man asked, "Where are you going, and where have you come from?"
18The man answered, "We are traveling from Bethlehem in Judah to the remote parts of the hill country of Ephraim, where I am from. I have been to Bethlehem in Judah, and I am going to the house of the Lord, but no one has taken me into their home.
6Then the woman went to her husband and told him, "A man of God came to me. His appearance was like that of an angel of God, very awe-inspiring. I did not ask him where he was from, and he did not tell me his name.
7Elisha came to Damascus, and Ben-Hadad, the king of Aram, was sick. It was reported to him, "The man of God has come all the way here."
10Saul said to his servant, "Good idea. Let’s go." So they set out for the town where the man of God was.
11As they were climbing the hill to the town, they met young women coming out to draw water, and they asked them, "Is the seer here?"

11Now you tell me, 'Go and say to your master, Elijah is here!'
26When the prophet who had brought him back from the road heard about it, he said, 'It is the man of God who defied the command of the LORD. Therefore, the LORD has given him over to the lion, which has mauled and killed him, just as the word of the LORD had spoken to him.'
27Then he said to his sons, 'Saddle the donkey for me.' So they saddled the donkey.
28He went and found the man's body lying in the road, with the donkey and the lion standing beside it. The lion had not eaten the body nor attacked the donkey.
