He said, 'This is what the king who will reign over you will demand: He will take your sons and assign them to his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots.

14But now your kingdom will not endure. The Lord has sought a man after His own heart and appointed him leader over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you."
