9 The commanders of hundreds did as Jehoiada the priest had ordered. Each of them brought his men, those coming on and those going off duty on the Sabbath, and they reported to Jehoiada the priest.
10 Jehoiada the priest gave the commanders of hundreds spears and shields that had belonged to King David and were kept in the temple of the LORD.
11 The guards stood with their weapons in hand, from the south side of the temple to the north side, by the altar and around the king.

19 He took the commanders of hundreds, the Carites, the guards, and all the people of the land, and they brought the king down from the temple of the LORD. They entered the palace through the gate of the guards, and the king took his seat on the royal throne.

15 So they seized her, and she came to the entrance of the Horse Gate by the king's palace, and there they put her to death.

4 For if you indeed carry out these commands, then kings who sit on David's throne will come through the gates of this palace, riding in chariots and on horses—they, their officials, and their people.
21 But they conspired against him, and at the king's command, they stoned him to death in the courtyard of the house of the Lord.
17 Now the king had put the officer on whose arm he leaned in charge of the gate, but the people trampled him in the gateway, and he died, just as the man of God had foretold when the king came down to his house.
7 Then he said to them, 'Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!' So they went out and struck down people in the city.
19 This is what the LORD said to me: 'Go and stand at the gate of the people through which the kings of Judah come in and go out, and also at all the gates of Jerusalem.'
20 He took the commanders of hundreds, the nobles, the rulers of the people, and all the people of the land and brought the king down from the house of the Lord. They entered through the Upper Gate to the king's palace and seated the king on the royal throne.
