Ahab king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat king of Judah, 'Will you go with me to Ramoth Gilead?' Jehoshaphat replied, 'I am as you are, and my people as your people; we will join you in the battle.'

31 When the chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat, they thought, 'This is the king of Israel!' So they turned to attack him. But Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; God diverted them away from him.

5 So the king of Israel gathered the prophets, four hundred men, and asked them, 'Shall we go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or should I refrain?' They answered, 'Go up, for God will give it into the hand of the king.'
6 But Jehoshaphat asked, 'Is there not still a prophet of the LORD here whom we can inquire of?'
10 Then the king of Israel said, "Alas! The LORD has called these three kings together to hand them over to Moab."
11 But Jehoshaphat asked, "Is there no prophet of the LORD here, through whom we may inquire of the LORD?" One of the servants of the king of Israel answered, "Elisha, son of Shaphat, who used to pour water on the hands of Elijah, is here."
12 Jehoshaphat said, "The word of the LORD is with him." So the king of Israel, Jehoshaphat, and the king of Edom went down to him.
13 Elisha said to the king of Israel, "What do we have to do with each other? Go to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother." But the king of Israel said to him, "No, because it is the LORD who has called these three kings together to hand them over to Moab."
14 When Micaiah arrived, the king asked him, 'Micaiah, shall we go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or should I refrain?' 'Attack and be victorious,' he answered, 'for they will be given into your hand.'
15 When Micaiah arrived before the king, the king said to him, 'Micaiah, should we go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or should we refrain?' Micaiah answered, 'Go and succeed, for the LORD will give it into the king’s hand.'
5 Following their counsel, he went with Jehoram son of Ahab, king of Israel, to fight against Hazael, king of Aram, at Ramoth-Gilead, where the Arameans wounded Jehoram.
6 Jehoram returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds he received at Ramoth while fighting against Hazael, king of Aram. Then Azariah (also called Ahaziah), son of Jehoram, king of Judah, went down to visit Jehoram, son of Ahab, in Jezreel because he was wounded.
28 Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to fight against Hazael, king of Aram, at Ramoth Gilead. The Arameans wounded Joram in the battle.
29 Then King Joram returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds the Arameans had inflicted on him at Ramah in his battle against Hazael king of Aram. Ahaziah son of Jehoram, king of Judah, went down to Jezreel to visit Joram son of Ahab because he was wounded.
19 And the LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab king of Israel into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?' One suggested this, and another that.

21 Joram ordered, 'Hitch up my chariot.' When it was hitched up, Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his own chariot, to meet Jehu. They found him on the plot of land that had belonged to Naboth the Jezreelite.
9 The king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah, dressed in their royal robes, were sitting on their thrones at the threshing floor by the entrance of the gate of Samaria, and all the prophets were prophesying before them.
