    15After the reading of the law and the prophets, the leaders of the synagogue sent a message to them, saying, 'Brothers, if you have any word of encouragement for the people, speak.'

    16Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand, said, 'Men of Israel and you who fear God, listen!'

    43After the synagogue meeting had ended, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who spoke to them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.

    16As we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a servant girl who had a spirit of divination. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling.

    17She followed Paul and us, shouting, 'These men are servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation!'
