  • Dan 2:40-43 : 40 Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, for iron crushes and shatters everything. And just as iron breaks in pieces, it will crush and break all the others. 41 But as you saw the feet and toes made partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it will be a divided kingdom. However, it will have some of the strength of iron, as you saw the iron mixed with the clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom will be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw the iron mixed with clay, the people will mix but will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.
  • Dan 7:7-8 : 7 After this, I saw in the visions of the night a fourth beast, terrifying, dreadful, and exceedingly strong. It had large iron teeth and devoured, crushed, and trampled the remainder with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that came before it, and it had ten horns. 8 I was considering the horns, and behold, another horn, a small one, came up among them. Three of the first horns were uprooted before it. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth speaking great things.
  • Dan 7:19-26 : 19 Then I wanted to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the others—exceedingly terrifying, with iron teeth and bronze claws, which devoured, crushed, and trampled the remainder with its feet. 20 And about the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn that came up, before which three fell—the horn that had eyes and a mouth speaking great things, and whose appearance was greater than the others. 21 As I was watching, that horn made war against the holy ones and was prevailing against them. 22 Until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was given in favor of the holy ones of the Most High, and the time came for the holy ones to possess the kingdom. 23 He said, 'The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on earth, different from all the other kingdoms. It will devour the whole earth, trample it, and crush it.' 24 The ten horns represent ten kings who will rise from this kingdom. Another king, different from the previous ones, will rise after them and will subdue three kings. 25 He will speak words against the Most High, oppress the holy ones of the Most High, and plan to change times and laws. The holy ones will be handed over to him for a time, times, and half a time. 26 But the court will convene, and his dominion will be taken away, annihilated, and destroyed forever.

34 While you were watching, a stone was cut out, not by human hands. It struck the statue on its iron and clay feet and broke them into pieces.

43 As you saw the iron mixed with clay, the people will mix but will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.

44 In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will establish a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will stand forever.

45 This is because you saw a stone cut out from a mountain without human hands, and it crushed the iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold. The great God has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is trustworthy.
