    24When they moved, I heard the sound of their wings like the roar of mighty waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a sound of tumult like the noise of an army. When they stood still, they let down their wings.

    25A voice came from above the expanse over their heads as they stood still with their wings lowered.

    26Above the expanse over their heads was something like a throne, resembling a sapphire stone. And on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a human seated above it.

    11The wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long. One wing of the first cherub was five cubits and touched the wall of the house, and its other wing, also five cubits, touched the wing of the second cherub.

    12Similarly, the wing of the second cherub, measuring five cubits, touched the other wall of the house, and its other wing, also five cubits, overlapped with the wing of the first cherub.

    13The wings of these cherubim were spread out twenty cubits in total. They stood on their feet, and their faces were turned inward toward the house.
