17Then she told him this story: "That Hebrew servant you brought to us came to mock me.
18But when I raised my voice and screamed, he left his garment beside me and fled outside."
19When his master heard the story that his wife told him, saying, "This is how your servant treated me," his anger burned.
39So Pharaoh said to Joseph, 'Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.'
40'You shall be in charge of my house, and all my people are to submit to your commands. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.'

44Pharaoh also said to Joseph, 'I am Pharaoh, but without your permission, no one will lift a hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.'
37My master made me swear an oath, saying, 'You must not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites among whom I live.
2The LORD was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, serving in the house of his Egyptian master.
