If my heart has been enticed by a woman, or if I have lurked at my neighbor's door,

12Now in the street, now in the squares, at every corner, she lurks.
20But if you have gone astray while under your husband’s authority and defiled yourself, and if a man other than your husband has had sexual relations with you—

25Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways; do not stray into her paths.
51My eyes bring grief to my soul because of all the daughters of my city.

29This is the law regarding jealousy when a woman goes astray and defiles herself while under her husband's authority.
3Otherwise, they will tear me apart like a lion, ripping me to pieces with no one to rescue.
20This is the way of an adulterous woman: she eats, wipes her mouth, and says, 'I have done nothing wrong.'
11Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
14accusing her of misconduct and giving her a bad name by saying, 'I married this woman, but when I came to her, I did not find proof of her virginity,'
15If I had spoken out like that, I would have betrayed Your children.
16If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, the man must still pay the bride price for virgins.
9Keep me from the trap they have set for me and from the snares of those who do evil.
5Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a close friend. Guard the words of your mouth from her who lies in your embrace.
2They bend their tongues like a bow to shoot lies, not for truth do they grow strong in the land; they go from one evil to another, and they do not know me, declares the Lord.
