33 Then Moses gave to the sons of Gad, the sons of Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan—the land with its cities and the territories surrounding them.
8 Therefore, keep the words of this covenant and do them, so that you may prosper in all that you do.
20 'You are to help your fellow Israelites until the LORD gives them rest, as He has done for you, and they too have taken possession of the land the LORD your God is giving them across the Jordan. After that, each of you may return to the possession I have given you.'
6 After Joshua sent the people away, the Israelites went to take possession of the land, each to their own inheritance.
17 Then Joshua said to the house of Joseph—to Ephraim and Manasseh: 'You are a numerous people and strong. You shall not have just one allotment of land,'

51 These were the inheritances that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the families of the Israelite tribes distributed by lot at Shiloh before the LORD, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. So they finished dividing the land.
28 Then Joshua dismissed the people, each to their own inheritance.
