    9 Joshua also set up twelve stones in the middle of the Jordan, under the place where the priests carrying the ark of the covenant stood, and they are there to this day.

    10 The priests carrying the ark stood in the middle of the Jordan until everything was completed that the LORD commanded Joshua to tell the people, just as Moses had instructed Joshua. The people hurried and crossed over.
