4Woe to a sinful nation, a people loaded down with guilt, offspring of evildoers, children who act corruptly! They have abandoned the LORD, spurned the Holy One of Israel, and turned their backs on Him.

11Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, and they have put them with their own possessions.
2Shake off the dust, rise up; sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains around your neck, captive Daughter of Zion.
8For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, because their speech and actions are against the LORD, challenging His glorious presence.
13But you have planted wickedness, reaped injustice, and eaten the fruit of deception. Because you trusted in your own way and in your many warriors,
13Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley, O rock of the plain, declares the LORD. You who say, 'Who can come against us? Who can enter our dwellings?'
