    30‘How weak is your heart,’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘that you do all these things, the actions of a brazen prostitute!

    31When you built your mounds at the head of every road and made your high places in every street, you were not like a prostitute, because you scorned payment.

  • 19'Hear the word of the Lord, you women; let your ears receive the words of His mouth. Teach your daughters to wail and one another to mourn.'

  • 15All who pass along the way clap their hands at you; they hiss and wag their heads at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, 'Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of all the earth?'

  • 22If you ask yourself, ‘Why has this happened to me?’ it is because of your many sins. Your skirts have been torn off, and your heels have been exposed.

  • 19You say to yourself that you have defeated Edom, and now you are arrogant and proud. But stay at home! Why provoke disaster so that you and Judah will fall?
