5This is what the LORD says: ‘What fault did your ancestors find in me that they strayed so far from me? They pursued worthless idols and became worthless themselves.
35Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'Because you have forgotten me and thrust me behind your back, you must also bear the consequences of your lewdness and prostitution.'
9Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and follow other gods that you have not known,
