9You have done more evil than all who came before you. You have gone and made other gods and cast images to provoke Me to anger, and you have turned your back on Me.

14Therefore, this is what the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: 'See, I will feed this people with bitter food and give them poisoned water to drink.'
12They served idols, about which the Lord had said to them, 'You shall not do this thing.'
3This happened because of their wickedness in provoking me to anger by burning incense and worshiping other gods—gods they, you, and your ancestors did not know.
15Be careful not to make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, for when they prostitute themselves to their gods and sacrifice to them, they will invite you, and you will eat from their sacrifices.
8You have despised my holy things and profaned my Sabbaths.
