22But if you say to me, ‘We trust in the LORD our God,’ isn’t He the one whose high places and altars Hezekiah has removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, ‘You must worship before this altar in Jerusalem’?
2Even when they say, 'As surely as the Lord lives,' they swear falsely.
11Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets practice divination for silver. Yet they lean on the LORD, saying, 'Is not the LORD among us? No disaster will come upon us.'
4Do not worship the Lord your God in the same way that they worship their gods.
5Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a close friend. Guard the words of your mouth from her who lies in your embrace.
4He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and they will trust in the LORD.

16This is what the LORD of Hosts says: Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They are filling you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.
8Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

4'I will send it out,' declares the LORD of Hosts, 'and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by my name. It will remain inside their house and consume it completely, including its timber and stones.'
5This is what the LORD says: Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD.
28And now, O Lord GOD, you are God, and your words are truth, and you have promised this good thing to your servant.
30For the people of Judah have done evil in my sight, declares the LORD. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my name to defile it.
6Into your hand I entrust my spirit; you have redeemed me, O LORD, faithful God.
7The Lord has rejected his altar and disowned his sanctuary. He has delivered into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces. They raised their voices in the house of the LORD as on a day of appointed festival.
4The LORD said, 'This is what you are to say to him: Behold, what I have built I am tearing down, and what I have planted I am uprooting—the entire land.'
