10Whatever case comes to you from your fellow Israelites living in their cities—whether of bloodshed or other matters of the law, commands, statutes, or decrees—you are to warn them not to sin against the LORD; otherwise, His wrath will come upon you and your people. Do this, and you will not sin.
5They said, 'Turn now, each of you, from your evil way and from your evil actions. Dwell in the land that the LORD gave to you and your ancestors forever and ever.
16He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and it was well with him. Is this not what it means to know me? declares the LORD.
17But your eyes and heart are set only on your dishonest gain, on shedding innocent blood, and on oppression and violence.
20Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you.

19But if you turn away and forsake the statutes and commandments I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,
14that wicked men have come out from among you and led the inhabitants of their city astray, saying, 'Let us go and worship other gods'—gods you have not known—
