Place them on each side to hold the poles for carrying it. 5 You shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 6 You shall place it in front of the veil that is before the ark of the testimony, in front of the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with you. 7 Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it every morning when he trims the lamps. 8 When Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense on it. This shall be a perpetual incense offering before the LORD throughout your generations. 9 You shall not offer unauthorized incense on it, nor any burnt or grain offering, nor shall you pour a drink offering on it. 10 Once a year Aaron shall make atonement on its horns with the blood of the sin offering of atonement. It will be a memorial for the Israelites before the LORD, to make atonement for your lives. 17 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 18 You shall make a bronze basin, with its base of bronze, for washing. Place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it. 19 Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and feet with water from it.
