5Then He said to me, 'Son of man, lift up your eyes now toward the north.' So I lifted my eyes toward the north, and there, north of the gate of the altar, was this idol of jealousy at the entrance.
6And He said to me, 'Son of man, do you see what they are doing—the great abominations that the house of Israel is committing here, to drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see even greater abominations.'
9I looked, and I saw a hand stretched out to me, and in it was a scroll.
10He spread it out before me, and it was written on both the front and back. Written on it were words of lamentation, mourning, and woe.
13The word of the LORD came to me a second time: 'What do you see?' I replied, 'I see a boiling pot, and it is tilting away from the north.'
6For this is what the Lord said to me: 'Go, station a watchman, and let him report what he sees.'
17And He said to me, 'Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a trivial thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence and continually anger Me. Behold, they are even putting the branch to their nose!
