38And it shall be, if you will listen to all that I command you, and will walk in my ways, and do what is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with you, and build you a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to you.
19And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.
4That the Lord may continue His word which He spoke concerning me, saying, If your children take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail you a man on the throne of Israel.
24Now therefore, as the Lord lives, who has established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who has made me a house, as He promised, Adonijah shall be put to death today.
14And if you will walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.
25And now, O LORD God, the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house, establish it forever, and do as you have said.
7And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, he rejoiced greatly and said, Blessed be the LORD today, who has given David a wise son over this great people.
