And Solomon said, If he will show himself a worthy man, not a hair of him shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.

    46So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck him down and he died. And the kingdom was firmly established in the hand of Solomon.

    31And the king said unto him, Do as he has said, and strike him down and bury him, that you may take away the innocent blood which Joab shed, from me and from the house of my father.

  • 28And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor: and Solomon his son reigned in his place.

  • 31Gray hair is a crown of glory, if it is found in the way of righteousness.
