33 The king also said to them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon my own mule, and bring him down to Gihon.
8 And Solomon said to God, You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me to reign in his place.
31 Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father, and Rehoboam his son reigned in his place.
23 Then King Solomon swore by the Lord, saying, God do so to me, and more, if Adonijah has not spoken this word against his own life.
24 Now therefore, as the Lord lives, who has established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and who has made me a house, as He promised, Adonijah shall be put to death today.
25 And King Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him and he died.
35 Then you shall come up after him, that he may come and sit upon my throne; for he shall be king in my place; and I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.
2 And Solomon sent to Hiram, saying,
1 Now these are the last words of David. David, the son of Jesse, said, and the man who was exalted, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said,
43 And Solomon rested with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his place.
10 So David rested with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David.
45 And King Solomon shall be blessed, and the throne of David shall be established before the Lord forever.
46 So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck him down and he died. And the kingdom was firmly established in the hand of Solomon.

12 Then Solomon sat upon the throne of David his father; and his kingdom was firmly established.

11 And it shall happen, when your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, that I will raise up your seed after you, who shall be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.
27 Has this thing been done by my lord the king, and you have not shown it to your servant, who should sit on the throne of my lord the king after him?
46 And also Solomon sits on the throne of the kingdom.
15 And David called one of the young men and said, Go near, and strike him. And he smote him that he died.
