22 So that the generation to come of your children that rise up after you, and the foreigner who shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD has laid upon it;
17 And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and He shuts up the heaven, so there is no rain, and the land yields no fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD gives you.

16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning fever, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
12 Either three years of famine; or three months to be defeated before your foes, while the sword of your enemies overtakes you; or else three days of the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the territory of Israel. Now therefore decide what word I shall bring back to him who sent me.
13 So Gad came to David, and told him, and said to him, Shall seven years of famine come to you in your land? or will you flee three months before your enemies, while they pursue you? or shall there be three days' pestilence in your land? Now consider, and see what answer I shall return to Him who sent me.
21 And they shall pass through it, hard-pressed and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
15 There the fire shall devour you; the sword shall cut you off, it shall eat you up like the locust: make yourself many like the locust, make yourself many like the swarming locusts.
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
37 Yet if they come to themselves in the land where they are carried captive, and turn and pray to you in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have dealt wickedly;
42 All your trees and fruit of your land shall the locust consume.
