And Saul's uncle said to him and to his servant, Where did you go? And he said, To seek the donkeys: and when we saw that they were nowhere, we came to Samuel.

2When you depart from me today, then you will find two men by Rachel's tomb in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say to you, The donkeys which you went to seek are found: and, behold, your father has stopped caring about the donkeys, and worries about you, saying, What shall I do for my son?
13And when he had finished prophesying, he came to the high place.
12And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and behold, he set up a place for himself, and has gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.
13And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said to him, Blessed are you of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.

16Then Samuel said to Saul, Stay, and I will tell you what the LORD said to me this night. And he said to him, Speak on.
13As soon as you come into the city, you shall find him immediately, before he goes up to the high place to eat: for the people will not eat until he comes, because he blesses the sacrifice; and afterward those who are invited eat. Now therefore go up; for about this time you shall find him.
14And they went up to the city: and when they came into the city, behold, Samuel came out towards them, to go up to the high place.
15Now the LORD had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying,
10Then Saul said to his servant, Well said; come, let us go. So they went unto the city where the man of God was.
11And as they went up the hill to the city, they found young maidens going out to draw water, and said to them, Is the seer here?
18Then Saul drew near to Samuel in the gate and said, Tell me, I pray you, where the seer's house is.
19And Samuel answered Saul and said, I am the seer: go up before me to the high place; for you shall eat with me today, and tomorrow I will let you go, and will tell you all that is in your heart.
20And as for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not set your mind on them; for they are found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on you, and on all your father's house?
10And it came to pass, as soon as he had finished offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him.
11And Samuel said, What have you done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the appointed days, and that the Philistines gathered at Michmash,
5And behold, Saul came after the herd out of the field, and Saul said, "What troubles the people, that they weep?" And they told him the news of the men of Jabesh.
22Then he himself went to Ramah, and came to the great well that is in Sechu; and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And someone said, Behold, they are at Naioth in Ramah.
26And they arose early: and it happened about the break of day, that Samuel called Saul to the top of the house, saying, Up, that I may send you away. And Saul arose, and both of them, he and Samuel, went out.
27And as they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us, (and he passed on,) but stand still a while, that I may show you the word of God.
2And Samuel said, How can I go? If Saul hears it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take a heifer with you, and say, I have come to sacrifice to the LORD.
14And he said to her, What form does he have? And she said, An old man comes up, and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he bowed with his face to the ground.
15And Samuel said to Saul, Why have you disturbed me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am in great distress; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me and does not answer me anymore, neither by prophets nor by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may make known to me what I shall do.
10Then came the word of the LORD to Samuel, saying,
17Saul said to the people who were with him, "Number now and see who has gone from us." When they had numbered, behold, Jonathan and his armorbearer were not there.
18Saul said to Ahijah, "Bring here the ark of God," for the ark of God was at that time with the children of Israel.
21When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.
22Therefore they inquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come there. And the LORD answered, Behold, he has hidden himself among the equipment.
19Therefore Saul sent messengers to Jesse, and said, Send me David your son, who is with the sheep.
1Samuel also said to Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint you to be king over His people, over Israel: now therefore listen to the voice of the words of the LORD.
37Saul inquired of God, "Shall I go down after the Philistines? Will You deliver them into the hand of Israel?" But He did not answer him that day.
34Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.
12When the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice, and the woman spoke to Saul, saying, Why have you deceived me? For you are Saul.
11And it came to pass, when all who knew him previously saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said to one another, What is this that has come upon the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?

1On a certain day, Jonathan the son of Saul said to the young man who carried his armor, "Come, let us go over to the Philistines' garrison on the other side." But he did not tell his father.
7Then Saul said to his servants, Seek me a woman with a familiar spirit, that I may go to her and inquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman with a familiar spirit at Endor.
31When the words that David spoke were heard, they repeated them before Saul, and he sent for him.
12And Saul said, Hear now, you son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord.
