9Now therefore listen to their voice: however, you shall solemnly warn them, and show them the manner of the king who shall reign over them.
35I am this day eighty years old; and can I distinguish between good and evil? Can your servant taste what I eat or what I drink? Can I hear anymore the voice of singing men and singing women? Why then should your servant be yet a burden to my lord the king?
36Your servant will go a little way over the Jordan with the king; and why should the king recompense me with such a reward?
20Whereas you came just yesterday, should I this day make you wander with us? seeing I go where I may, return, and take back your brethren: mercy and truth be with you.

7And now, O LORD my God, you have made your servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in.
10And now, behold, the LORD has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years since the LORD spoke this word to Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now, lo, I am this day eighty-five years old.
18Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O God, do not forsake me, until I have shown your strength to this generation, and your power to everyone that is to come.
19Now, therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD has stirred you up against me, let Him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, cursed are they before the LORD, for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, 'Go, serve other gods.'

9Now, O LORD God, let your promise to David my father be established: for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
11And it shall happen, when your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, that I will raise up your seed after you, who shall be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.
17And Samuel said, When you were little in your own sight, were you not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed you king over Israel?
