17 And he said, What is the thing that the LORD has said to you? Please, do not hide it from me: God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that he said to you.
18 And Samuel told him everything, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD; let him do what seems good to him.
19 And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and let none of his words fall to the ground.
15 Now the LORD had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying,
16 Then Samuel said to Saul, Stay, and I will tell you what the LORD said to me this night. And he said to him, Speak on.

15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why have you disturbed me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am in great distress; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me and does not answer me anymore, neither by prophets nor by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may make known to me what I shall do.
12 And Saul said, Hear now, you son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord.
14 And when Eli heard the noise of the outcry, he said, What does the noise of this tumult mean? And the man came in hastily and told Eli.
9 And Samuel took a nursing lamb and offered it for a whole burnt offering unto the LORD: and Samuel cried unto the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him.
11 Will the men of Keilah deliver me into his hand? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beg you, tell your servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
17 Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant you your petition that you have asked of him.

12 And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and behold, he set up a place for himself, and has gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.
10 And Samuel told all the words of the LORD to the people who asked of him a king.
11 And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child served the LORD before Eli the priest.
16 And the man said to Eli, I am he who came out of the army, and I fled today out of the army. And he said, What happened, my son?
11 And Samuel said to Jesse, Are these all your children? And he said, There remains yet the youngest, and behold, he keeps the sheep. And Samuel said to Jesse, Send and bring him: for we will not sit down till he comes here.
31 When the words that David spoke were heard, they repeated them before Saul, and he sent for him.
5 And Samuel said, Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray for you to the LORD.
7 And when he looked behind him, he saw me and called to me. And I answered, Here I am.
