21And the LORD sent an angel who destroyed all the mighty men of valor and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame on his face to his own land. And when he entered the house of his god, his own sons killed him with the sword there.
22Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others, and guided them on every side.

13For he says, By the strength of my hand, I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the boundaries of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have brought down the inhabitants like a valiant man;
24How then will you repel one captain of the least of my master's servants and rely on Egypt for chariots and horsemen?
25Have I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.
7But if you say to me, We trust in the LORD our God: is it not He whose high places and altars Hezekiah has removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, You shall worship before this altar?
14Thus says the king: Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he shall not be able to deliver you.
15Nor let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us; this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
22But if you say to me, We trust in the LORD our God, is it not he whose high places and altars Hezekiah has taken away, and has said to Judah and Jerusalem, You shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?
28But where are your gods that you have made? let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble: for according to the number of your cities are your gods, O Judah.
6And said, O LORD God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven? And do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? And in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?
39See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: nor is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
27Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should misbehave themselves, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD has not done all this.
