Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?

13And he said to him, Say now to her, Behold, you have been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for you? Would you be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among my own people.
14And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Truly she has no child, and her husband is old.
15And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door.
16And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, you shall embrace a son. And she said, No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your maidservant.
17And the woman conceived, and bore a son at that season that Elisha had said to her, according to the time of life.
18And when the child was grown, it happened one day, that he went out to his father to the reapers.
29Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up your loins, and take my staff in your hand, and go your way: if you meet any man, do not greet him; and if any greet you, do not answer him again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child.
30And the mother of the child said, As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. And he arose, and followed her.
31And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice nor hearing. Therefore he went again to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awake.
18And she said to Elijah, What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to remind me of my sin, and to kill my son?
19And he said to her, Give me your son. And he took him out of her arms, and carried him up into the loft where he stayed, and laid him upon his own bed.
20And he cried to the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, have You also brought calamity upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by killing her son?
36And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she came in to him, he said, Take up your son.
37Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out.
26And she said, Oh my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman that stood by you here, praying to the LORD.
27For this child I prayed; and the LORD has granted me my petition which I asked of him:
16And now I ask one request of you, do not deny me. And she said unto him, Speak on.
12When the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice, and the woman spoke to Saul, saying, Why have you deceived me? For you are Saul.
18Then the king answered and said to the woman, Do not hide from me, I pray you, the thing that I shall ask you. And the woman said, Let my lord the king now speak.
20Then she said, I desire one small petition of you; please do not deny me. And the king said to her, Ask on, my mother, for I will not refuse you.
3And it happened at the end of seven years, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went to plead to the king for her house and for her land.
4And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, "Tell me, I beg you, all the great things that Elisha has done."
5And it happened, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, "My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life."
6And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, "Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now."
28And the king said to her, What troubles you? And she answered, This woman said to me, Give your son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.
11Then she said, I pray you, let the king remember the LORD your God, that you would not allow the avenger of blood to destroy anymore, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As the LORD lives, there shall not one hair of your son fall to the earth.
12Then the woman said, Let your maidservant, I pray you, speak one word to my lord the king. And he said, Speak on.
25But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said to him, Where have you been, Gehazi? And he said, Your servant went nowhere.
26And he said to him, Did not my heart go with you, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive clothing, olive groves, and vineyards, sheep, oxen, male servants, and female servants?
15Then Sarah denied, saying, I did not laugh; for she was afraid. And he said, No; but you did laugh.
16And when she came to her mother-in-law, she said, Who are you, my daughter? And she told her all that the man had done to her.
15Now therefore I have come to speak of this thing to my lord the king, because the people have made me afraid: and your maidservant said, I will now speak to the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his maidservant.
3And she said to her mistress, If only my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would heal him of his leprosy.
4And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid who is from the land of Israel.
1Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets to Elisha, saying, Your servant my husband is dead; and you know that your servant feared the LORD: and the creditor has come to take my two sons to be slaves.
2And Elisha said to her, What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house? And she said, Your maidservant has nothing in the house except a pot of oil.
5And the LORD said to Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam comes to ask a thing of you for her son; for he is sick: this and that shall you say to her: for it shall be, when she comes in, that she shall pretend to be another woman.
6Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came to me, and his appearance was like that of an angel of God, very awesome: but I did not ask him where he came from, nor did he tell me his name:
20And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while your servant slept, and laid him in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.
21And when I rose in the morning to nurse my child, behold, it was dead; but when I considered it in the morning, behold, it was not my son, whom I had borne.
18And when they came again to him, (for he waited at Jericho,) he said to them, Did I not say to you, Do not go?
39And I said to my master, 'Perhaps the woman will not follow me.'
28And have not allowed me to kiss my sons and my daughters? You have now done foolishly in so doing.
