21 And they said to them, The Lord look upon you and judge; because you have made our odor to be loathed in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us.
6 And God spoke in this way, that his descendants would dwell in a strange land, and that they would bring them into bondage, and treat them poorly for four hundred years.
15 Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Why do you deal this way with your servants?
16 There is no straw given to your servants, and they say to us, Make bricks: and behold, your servants are beaten; but the fault is in your own people.
5 And you shall speak and say before the LORD your God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:
4 And the king of Egypt said to them, Why do you, Moses and Aaron, take the people away from their work? Go back to your burdens.
11 Now there came a famine over all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and great affliction; and our fathers found no sustenance.
9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

36 And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they asked. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.
8 Servants rule over us; there is none to deliver us from their hand.
7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows;
