  • 6But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

  • 11Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land that I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me,

  • 24Yes, they despised the pleasant land, they did not believe his word.

  • 13These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, were assured of them, embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
