Therefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They always go astray in their heart; and they have not known My ways.

13 And the LORD says, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, nor walked in it;
17 And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the Most High in the wilderness.
4 Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they do not know the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.
13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they did not walk in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man does, he shall even live in them; and they greatly polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
23 But this people has a revolting and a rebellious heart; they have revolted and gone.
10 They did not keep the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law;
16 Because they despised my judgments, and did not walk in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.
13 And the LORD's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation that had done evil in the sight of the LORD was consumed.
32 For all this they sinned still, and did not believe for his wondrous works.
26 But the LORD was angry with me for your sakes and would not hear me; and the LORD said to me: Enough! Do not speak to me anymore about this matter.
51 Because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you did not sanctify me in the midst of the children of Israel.
30 They would have none of my counsel and despised all my rebuke.
