18And I said, My strength and my hope perished from the LORD.

15And where now is my hope? As for my hope, who shall see it?
5I cried unto You, O LORD: I said, You are my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
3For the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has crushed my life to the ground; he has made me dwell in darkness, like those long dead.
7Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
