23But I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you; who have said to your soul, 'Bow down, that we may go over:' and you have laid your body like the ground, and like the street, for those who went over.'
17Behold, the LORD will carry you away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover you.
6On what are its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone,
4Fear not; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be you confounded; for you shall not be put to shame: for you shall forget the shame of your youth, and shall not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.
18For behold, I have made you this day a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.
4Though Edom says, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus says the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD has indignation forever.
11I adorned you also with ornaments, and I put bracelets on your hands, and a chain on your neck.
18And surely the mountain falling comes to nothing, and the rock is removed out of its place.
