13Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

12Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely on them:
13As it is written in the law of Moses, all this calamity has come upon us: yet we have not made our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth.
14Therefore the LORD has watched over the calamity, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all His works which He does: for we have not obeyed His voice.
15And now, O Lord our God, who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and made Yourself a name, as it is this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
3The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he has ceased to be wise, and to do good.
14Behold, he travails with iniquity, and has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
11Wickedness is in the midst of it; deceit and guile do not depart from its streets.

13Therefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near to me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
9For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is pure wickedness; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongue.
10Destroy them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against you.

13For from the least of them even to the greatest of them, everyone is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely.

17All this has come upon us; yet we have not forgotten You, nor have we dealt falsely in Your covenant.
